We are the Prorok family. With the help of the Lean On Foundation we are reaching out to spread suicide awareness. Our goal is to help others in conjunction with other groups, foundations, and services to eradicate suicide.

We are proud to announce the recipients of our 5th Annual Good Confidant Scholarships!
This year, the Lean on Foundation awarded two scholarships to exceptional individuals from Nebraska’s Class D schools that have been drawn to enroll in our program. The Good Confidant Scholarship recognizes students who exemplify outstanding character, compassion, and integrity—those who uplift others through kindness and empathy.
Participating schools in our program include:
Howells-Dodge, Bertrand, Winside, Riverside, Elm Creek, Osceola Public, Overton Public and Humphrey Public.
We received 19 incredible applications, and each student truly inspired us with their commitment to their peers and communities.
Unlike many scholarships that focus on academics or athletics, the Good Confidant Scholarship is awarded based solely on character and personal integrity. We seek students who lead with heart—those who are inclusive, respectful, and who embody what it means to be a true confidant: someone who listens with empathy, shows care through their actions, and is a steady presence for those around them.
Each recipient receives $1,000 to use toward their future—whatever path they choose to take.
After thoughtful review, we are thrilled to announce this year’s recipients:
Isabella Behle & Jade Bayer
These remarkable young women truly reflect the spirit of what it means to be a Good Confidant.
Congratulations, Isabella and Jade! The world is brighter because of you, and we can’t wait to see the difference you’ll make.
To all our applicants—thank you for being beacons of kindness in your schools and communities. You give us hope and remind us why this mission matters.
To our supporters—thank you for standing with us in the fight for suicide prevention and awareness. Your love and dedication mean everything.
With gratitude,
The Lean on Foundation Team

Cooper William Prorok took his life at the young age of 15. He was a kind and loving boy who will never get to tell his story; We had no indications that he was having mental health issues and contemplating suicide. There will be an empty space in our hearts forever. We want to make a difference in his honor.
It only takes a second to ask how somebody's day is going or to give a simple compliment.
The mission of Lean On Foundation is to be the light on your darkest days, the hope when in despair, the voice of a story unfinished;
Suicide awareness, suicide prevention, and mental wellness has become our passion and we will always be your shoulder to Lean On.
